Segaki
A ritual will be performed by Okami Shrine through chants and offerings to soothe the spirits suffering known as 'hungry ghosts' from one of the lowest realms in Yomi. Folks are welcome to join in chants with their incense!

bon dance
The Bon Dance is a traditional and folk Hingan dance that welcomes spirits of the deceased to the festival, laying rest to any doubts of the dead. Attendees may dance along to the music and bon dancers!

Send-off
Okami Shrine will be conducting the closing ceremony in which those who created their lanterns dedicated to the deceased and loved ones may send them down the river in peace.

lanterns
Those who want to celebrate Obon Odori at the end of the evening are welcome to come to the Lantern Decoration booth! With help from local geisha, you can create a lantern dedicated to someone you know or love who is gone. At the end of the festival, everyone will gather to set the lanterns to sail, leading the spirits safely home.
